Correct Use of Equipment

These Important Instructions take less than 5 minutes to read and they must be agreed to prior to hiring the bouncy castle

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this bouncy castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable and its users. Please ensure that the following safety and care instructions are followed:

A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times. Adults who are supervising must be made aware of these safety and care instructions by the person who is hiring this castle. Take a few minutes to read these important instructions.

Warning! Never leave the unit running unattended. Do not allow children to operate the unit.

DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO BE ON THE UNIT DURING INFLATION OR DEFLATION AS THIS IS DANGEROUS.

The units have an age limit of 14 years old. Please ensure nobody over this age uses the equipment. Adults must not bounce on this castle.

Always ensure the castle is not overcrowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of children. Avoid large and small children from using it at the same time.

No pets, toys, shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges or sharp instruments should be used or worn whilst on the castle.

Children are not to push, climb, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to themselves or others.

Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off.

Ensure children with any illness or history of back, neck or other joint problems are not allowed on the inflatable.

No food, drinks, chewing gum, face paints, party poppers or any materials which are likely to be dangerous or dirty to be allowed on the castle. If the castle is collected in a dirty condition the person hiring will incur a cleaning charge of €50.

The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. Any wetness can be dried with a towel.

No smoking or barbeques near the castle.

If the castle is not being used for any part of the day please switch the blower off at the mains.

In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains. Switch it back on again 2 minutes later. It should restart. If it does not, call us straight away on 087 9444 849.

Do not move this unit from where it has been set up. Do not use the unit near any swimming pools. All persons using this inflatable do so at their own risk. The person hiring this inflatable equipment will be responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times. We cannot accept any responsibility for an injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

Our Public Liability Insurance covers malfunction of unit or improper installation. It does not cover you for improper use or boisterous behaviour.
